TalkingPoint SpeechToText saves significant typing time and effort, by automatically converting dictated speech into text and managing the workflows.

Easy to Follow Workflow
The current status is displayed in a simple layout to allow the secretary to manage the workflow in the most efficient manner. Work moves from left to right as it is completed and can be monitored at every stage. The secretary is in control of all processes and can quickly select the method and priority of any work.

TalkingPoint SpeechToText is powered by the highly accurate Dragon Professional Speech Engine. TalkingPoint further improves Dragon's inherent accuracy by continuously enhancing each author's personal context model.
TalkingPoint converts speech to text for clear speakers with almost 100% accuracy.
Integration with Digital Dictation Systems
Recordings can be accessed anywhere on your network, so TalkingPoint integrates with your favoured digital dictation system to optimise your productivity. Those who have not already gone digital, can use the low-cost TalkingPoint Recorder to record their dictation, without breaking the bank.
Automatic Batch Conversion
TalkingPoint converts digital recordings from speech into text while the secretary gets on with other useful work. Multiple authors are automatically handled and the converted recordings are moved to a typing queue for finishing off - top and tailing, or placing in other applications. Batch conversion by priority can be run automatically.
Finishing off by the Secretary
Automatically created text is quickly proof-read and finished off. Secretaries can hear the author's dictation as they review the complete text (see above). Text is modified by audio-typing in the traditional manner, using foot pedals to control the replay. Finished text can be sent to Microsoft Word, any database or report.
Automatic Formatting
To save even more typing time, authors can optionally follow simple dictation rules to automatically format their finished document. For example, just dictate "The title is SpeechToText Halves Typing Time" to automatically insert the title "SpeechToText Halves Typing Time" into the Title field in a document or database.
Tables can be filled, documents formatted and much much more.
System Requirements
A special server is not required. Simply install TalkingPoint SpeechToText on your secretarial workstation and start work.
The secretarial workstation must have a spare USB port for foot pedals and a working sound card for a headset. 1Gbyte of memory is recommended with a minimum of 1GHz of processing power.
Each author must have a method of recording digital sound files. The TalkingPoint Sound Recorder is recommended as a suitable sound recorder.
